The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 require employers to assess risk, prevent or control exposure, and monitor where needed.
A COSHH assessment looks at the substance, how people are exposed, and the controls (substitution, extraction, PPE, training).
Safety data sheets help, but they are not the assessment. You still need site-specific controls.
This page is a summary only. Follow current HSE COSHH guidance for your trade.

How Pure Safety helps
This site’s COSHH page is a UK-duty guide. Pure Safety today ships incidents, observations and actions — not a dedicated COSHH module screen in the trial.
