CDM 2015 — construction design and management

CDM 2015 sets duties for clients, designers, principal designers, principal contractors and contractors on UK construction work.

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 apply to most construction projects in Great Britain.

Clients must make suitable arrangements for managing a project. Larger or longer jobs may need a principal designer and principal contractor.

Pre-construction information, a construction phase plan, and a health and safety file are core documents on many jobs.

F10 notification applies when a project is notifiable. Always check the current HSE CDM pages for thresholds.
